| GOLF Pok-ta-Pok Golf Course - It is a beautiful 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.. The course artistically incorporates hundreds of meters of dramatic shoreline and ancient Mayan ruins. It is nestled between the Nichupté Lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Facilities include an 18 hole championship golf course, driving range, practice putting green, 2 tennis courts, a well-stocked pro shop, and a restaurant/bar with panoramic views. Hilton Beach & Golf Resort - Japan's Aoki Corporation designed this newest course. The 18-hole course incorporates the Mayan ruins into the landscape of the course. This par-72, is a professional golf course that extends for 6,767 yard. Its facilities, including: Driving Range, challenging sand traps, transportation service from the Lobby, Golf shop with name brand equipment for men and women, electric carts, equipment rental and golf pros. The course hugs the shores of Laguna Nichupté near the El Rey ruins. This course is rumored to have alligators in one of the water hazards. Melia Cancún Golf Club - It is an eighteen hole, par 54 course, with a total length of 1,818 yards. Cancún Oasis Golf Club - It is a nine-hole par 27 course with a maximum length of 888 yards. TENNIS This is a fun sport to play in Cancún because there is often a gentle breeze. Most hotels have courts and the Fiesta Americana Coral Beach has three fabulous indoor courts. Pok-Ta-Pok also has two tennis courts that are open to the public. Many of the hotels also have courts that are open to the public. |
